Here are some of the exercises I’ve been doing to improve the flexibility of my hands. I just do them whenever I think of it. You can find more exercises and advice online.
|Palm stretchPlace hands palms together in front of your chest. Slowly lower your hands below the level of your elbows, opening the heels of the hands to feel a stretch in your palms and fingers. Hold 5-10s.|
| Finger raisesWith your palm and forearm flat on a table, lift each finger in turn and move it over to the side as you lower. Repeat to lift and return each finger to the original postition.
|Web stretchesWith your hand and forearm flat on a table, spread your fingers wide. Hold 5-10s.I also use my other hand to carefully increase this stretch between individual pairs of fingers.|
