Epcot Ball finished

The Epcot Ball is finally together. On Saturday Christiane took it apart again and then constructed the model in one 90min session. I wonder what she’ll do with all the free time now?

Hi, just wanna ask on how to construct the 270 unit module.

I’ve searched around and most did have a problem with constructing a sphere because there’s supposed to be a 5 “flower” ring inserted in some areas.

Is there a fix “formula” for a perfect sphere? Like where exactly to put the 5 “flower” ring or is it just a random placement?

    Looking forward to your reply

      hi Tia,
Christiane says she used this page which was really useful in building the model. She adds that when you have the correct pattern then the ‘5-peak points’ are orientated in a triangular pattern with each other. Best of luck with it, please send a photo when you’ve completed the model.
